How transformacy helped Prokura achieve a Silver EcoVadis rating on their first submission, positioning it in the top 9% of all assessed companies.
Prokura, formerly Cotswold Fasteners, is a specialist supplier serving industrial and manufacturing customers with a broad range of fastening products. Operating in a market where supply chain transparency and responsible sourcing are becoming increasingly important, Prokura sought to meet growing customer expectations and enhance its ESG reputation through the EcoVadis assessment.
As a first-time EcoVadis respondent, Prokura sought a structured approach to understanding and managing sustainability risks both within its operations and across its value chain. While the business already had a strong foundation of sustainable business practices, much of this had developed organically and not yet formally documented within a sustainability management system.
Like many SMEs, Prokura had limited internal resources and was balancing sustainability activities alongside day-to-day operational priorities. With many of its responsible business practices already in place, Prokura needed a partner that can help formalise existing practices, strengthen policies and governance structures, and build a robust sustainability management system aligned with the EcoVadis framework.
In-depth gap analysis and prioritised action plan detailing areas of strength and improvement opportunities.
End-to-end support across the entire EcoVadis assessment process, from document reviews and guidance to questionnaire completion to scorecard analysis.
Managing the assessment efficiently without creating a significant administrative burden.
The approach balanced speed with strategic depth, ensuring GS-FM met their immediate supplier requirement while also establishing a scalable framework for future submissions.
Our comprehensive EcoVadis assessment support helped Prokura achieve a Silver Medal, ranking in the 91st percentile for its very first submission, and positioning it in the top 9% of all assessed companies.
Through our partnership, we:
Developed a clearer understanding of Prokura’s sustainability strengths and improvement opportunities.
Formalised existing practices with stronger policies and documentation.
Established a structure framework for ongoing ESG improvement.
Strengthened the company’s positioning in client procurement process.
Set a clear baseline for future improvement cycles.
"When I started my EcoVadis journey it looked very daunting and almost impossible. Lei has made the whole process clear concise, and because of her we have managed to get a silver award. Lei guided me through step by step, and we worked together improving the company’s policies and procedures. Working with transformacy has been a pleasure very professional and the pricing is on point. I look forward to our continued relationship and achieving a gold. I would strongly recommend working with Lei and transformacy to help reach your EcoVadis goals.” - Mike Rorks, Operations Manager
For Prokura, the EcoVadis journey demonstrated that sustainability assessments do not need to be overwhelming for smaller businesses.
What initially appeared to be a complex and resource-intensive exercise became an opportunity to organise existing practices, strengthen governance, and create a clearer sustainability roadmap for the future. By partnering with our EcoVadis experts, first-time respondents can achieve meaningful outcomes and build a future-facing sustainability management system.
