The Mayor's Fund for London is an independent charity for young Londoners. We connect communities, employers, funders and City Hall to expand opportunities for young people facing the biggest barriers. We help them access support, build skills, and shape futures.
Too many of the capital’s young people are prevented from fulfilling their potential by food insecurity, poor mental and physical health, unequal access to networks, and a rapidly changing labour market. In a city that relies on talent and innovation to drive its economy, these inequalities represent not only social injustice but also a major economic risk. We believe every young Londoner should have the food, skills and power they need to thrive and shape a better London for everyone, so we base our work around these three interconnected areas of impact:
Food as a Foundation: we are the largest provider of holiday food and activities in the capital. We provide nutritious food, safe spaces, and wellbeing support so young people can grow their interests, confidence and talents through a London-wide network of community hubs.
Skills as a Springboard: we offer in-school workshops and coaching as well as careers insight days, networking events and work experience with businesses to build resilience and offer relevant, joined-up pathways to future employment.
Power through our Platforms: we bring together organisations with diverse young Londoners from across our network, creating opportunities for consultation, collaboration and insight.
Last year, we supported more than 62,000 young Londoners, providing nearly 230,000 healthy, free meals in the holidays and creating over 28,000 skills development opportunities. Much of our food and essentials provision is delivered via our social enterprise, Purpose Full, which distributes food boxes, hygiene items and other essentials to young people across London in a dignified and inclusive way.
We deliver measurable social value and positive outcomes for young Londoners and their families in variety of ways which include strategic partnerships, employee volunteering, skills-based support and collaborative working. We create lasting impact while contributing to ESG priorities, procurement commitments and stronger communities across London.
We want every young Londoner to have what they need to access a good job and fulfil their potential. Achieving this requires long-term collaboration between business, philanthropy, civil society and government. The Mayor's Fund for London is uniquely positioned to bring these partners together to unlock investment, create opportunities and ensure that young people are at the heart of London's future.
The transformacy Social Value Network is a growing community of organisations — social enterprises, charities, training providers, community groups and purpose-led businesses — each delivering genuine social value in their field and their region.
Think of it as a trusted pool of partners. When organisations make social value commitments — through a Public Sector tender, a Section 106 agreement, or their own strategy — they need credible partners to help deliver them on the ground. The network exists to connect that need with the organisations best placed to meet it.
Every member is chosen for the quality and authenticity of the social value they create, so the network stays something people can genuinely rely on — a shortcut to trusted, capable partners rather than an open directory. Each member has a profile setting out what they do, who they serve and where they operate, and displays the transformacy Social Value Network member badge as a mark of their place in the community.
Being part of the transformacy Social Value Network means:
Visibility — a profile within a trusted, curated network seen by organisations actively looking for social value partners.
Opportunity — the chance to be called upon when our clients and contacts need delivery partners for their social value commitments.
Recognition — the transformacy Social Value Network member badge to display on your own website, signalling your place in a trusted community.
Connection — a place within a growing community of like-minded, purpose-led organisations.
