Money First Aid (moneyfirstaid.net) exists to build resilience by embedding supportive financial wellbeing skills into workplaces across the UK.
As the cost of living continues to squeeze households, more organisations and communities are recognising that financial wellbeing support is an important and genuine social good.
Over the past two years, we've collected data directly from UK employees on the relationship between financial stress and daily life at work. 89% said financial stress has had a negative impact on their role and productivity, and 72% told us it caused them to lose focus and concentration on the job.
We equip organisations with the skills to support people experiencing financial difficulty through CPD-accredited online courses, webinars and workshops. Our flagship programme, Money First Aider®, trains employees to recognise the signs of financial stress, hold confident and compassionate conversations, and connect colleagues to the right support – much like a mental health first aider, but for money.
We're trusted by over 150 organisations across transport & automotive, construction & manufacturing, hospitality, NHS Trusts and more. Our training is self-paced, accessible and designed for people across all roles and locations, whatever their circumstances. First Bus trained 300 of their team as Money First Aiders, winning the Best Benefits Strategy / Innovation of the Year Award 2025, and our courses have an NPS of 84.
Money First Aid was founded by Rachel Harte and Stacey Lowman, who bring over 30 years' combined experience in financial services and are experts in financial wellbeing training design and delivery. At its heart, Money First Aid is about social value: reducing the harm that financial stress causes to individuals and families, and building workplaces – and communities – that are more resilient and equitable as a result.
The transformacy Social Value Network is a growing community of organisations — social enterprises, charities, training providers, community groups and purpose-led businesses — each delivering genuine social value in their field and their region.
Think of it as a trusted pool of partners. When organisations make social value commitments — through a Public Sector tender, a Section 106 agreement, or their own strategy — they need credible partners to help deliver them on the ground. The network exists to connect that need with the organisations best placed to meet it.
Every member is chosen for the quality and authenticity of the social value they create, so the network stays something people can genuinely rely on — a shortcut to trusted, capable partners rather than an open directory. Each member has a profile setting out what they do, who they serve and where they operate, and displays the transformacy Social Value Network member badge as a mark of their place in the community.
Being part of the transformacy Social Value Network means:
Visibility — a profile within a trusted, curated network seen by organisations actively looking for social value partners.
Opportunity — the chance to be called upon when our clients and contacts need delivery partners for their social value commitments.
Recognition — the transformacy Social Value Network member badge to display on your own website, signalling your place in a trusted community.
Connection — a place within a growing community of like-minded, purpose-led organisations.
